RACHEL ZHENG
2027 + Business Administration Major
Owner of Florify Made
I hope to share a sense of joy and happiness that comes from receiving something handmade with love and color, something that brightens your day. Each piece is crafted with care, and I want everyone who receives one to feel truly valued and special, like it was made just for them.

AVERY FOX
2028 + Journalism Major
Owner of Avery’s Amigurumi Crafts
I hope everyone sees the attention to detail I put into my orders. I try my hardest to make sure it fits everyone's needs and not only reflects their interests but my own flare as well. My ultimate goal is just to make items everyone loves and enjoys wearing or having in their space.

KIARA ROJAS
2026 + Film/TV & Visual Arts Major
Owner of Art by KR
The most rewarding part of my creative process is when a project or series finally comes to fruition. To be able to see a project that was once a seed of an idea become a tangible thing that I can hold and showcase to others feels liberating. Even through the challenges that come with experiencing artist block, I still find joy in the conversations and reflections that my art sparks within the community.
-
JULIA LAWRENCE-RIDDELL
2027 + Painting and Psychology Major
Owner of Julia Designs
I want my business to evoke a sense of individuality and creativity. I want each person to feel excited that they get to wear a unique handcrafted piece of jewelry when they put on my rings!

REBECCA CROWLEY
2027 + Painting Major
At the moment the ultimate goal I have for my business is to grow my customer/consumer base and thus my audience as I continue to promote sustainable/slow fashion and the importance of art and artists in all communities. I don’t have a huge goal in terms of sales and expansion post-grad, I see my business more as a stepping stone in my personal practice as an artist, and potentially leading me to a similar career on the creative team of a small company that shares the same values.

NIKITHA YELUKATI
2026 + Applied Business Analytics Major
Owner of Nikitha Yelukati Art
Running my art business has taught me time management, confidence, and how to share my work with a wider audience, all while balancing school and work. I am a part-time student at BU so most of my classes are online. Being able to sell my work on campus gives me the opportunity to showcase my work and connect with students in person which I'm super excited to be a part of.

JOIN STUDENT-MADE BU!
We’re always looking for more student-creators and entrepreneurs to join our community! We welcome all kinds of businesses, and we can’t wait to see what you’re making.
