Meet the Creator: Kiara Rojas
This is oil pastel on a reproduction of Vermeer's 1665 painting Girl with the Pearl Earring. Van Gogh's Starry Night and Vermeer's Girl with the Pearl Earring are two iconic paintings that share the commonality of depicting imaginary subjects. I decided to combine the works of these two artists to further emphasize how our imagination can also tell a lot about our reality.
